I bought a roof-mounted antenna. Should I RG6 or RG59? I ran with RG6 woven copper-clad steel sheets 60% 100% for a decent price. Is it worth it? RG6 can be used outdoors (eg, the antenna running through the wall and sealed)? I have never installed a satellite before, but I feel I can learn quickly to educate other outwards. I also have a HD ready. Do I need a preamp? If so, how? This is a Winegard antenna.
